Who is responsible for your data
Tramity is the party responsible (responsable) for the processing of your personal data. For anything related to it, write to us at contacto@tramity.com.
Tramity is a private service that supports people with procedures. It is not a government entity and has no relationship with Mexico’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Secretaría de Relaciones Exteriores), the SAT, Mexico’s tax authority, or the National Institute of Migration (Instituto Nacional de Migración, INM).
What data we process
If you write to us, through the form, by email or by WhatsApp: your name, your email or your phone number, and what you tell us in the message.
If you hire our support, the data needed for your procedure, which may include:
- full name, date and place of birth, sex and nationality;
- data from your identity document: passport, CURP or RFC, depending on the procedure;
- address;
- data about the procedure, such as the number of an INM authorization;
- copies of the documents we review with you before your appointment;
- your phone number and your email, to communicate with you;
- when the procedure is for a minor, the minor’s data and that of the minor’s parents or guardians, which is provided to us by the person who exercises parental authority (patria potestad) or guardianship (tutela).
What we do not ask you for: your SAT password (Contraseña) or your SAT e.firma, or the passwords to your accounts. We also do not keep your original documents or your passport.
What we use it for
We use your data to:
- reply to your message;
- provide the support you hired: guiding you on your procedure, reviewing your documents, arranging your appointment with the corresponding authority when the procedure requires one, preparing you for the appointment and following up on it;
- send you the confirmation of your appointment and the notices about your procedure;
- charge for our service;
- handle your requests for clarification and your complaints;
- keep your history in order to follow up with you and, if you come back for another procedure, not ask you for everything again;
- publish on this site the comment you give us about how it went for you (through your link or by WhatsApp), only if you authorize us to do so, and the photo you share with us, only if you authorize that as well.
We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell it.
If you authorize us to publish your comment
If you tell us through your link, you give us the permission with the checkbox when you send it. If you tell us by WhatsApp, we record it ourselves and note when and how you gave us the permission.
We publish the text of your comment, the name under which you said you wanted to appear, the procedure and the month. Your full name, your document, your reference number (folio) and the exact date of your appointment are not published. If you write any of that data in the text itself, we do not publish it.
If you share a photo with us (by uploading it through your link or by WhatsApp) and you also authorize us to publish it (with the checkbox when you send your comment, or by telling us by WhatsApp, in which case we note when), we publish a version edited by us: we cover your name, your reference number (folio) and the numbers of your documents, and we remove the hidden data from the file, such as the location where it was taken. The photo as you sent it to us is never published.
You can withdraw that authorization whenever you want, by writing to us at contacto@tramity.com. We remove it as soon as you ask us to, and it disappears from this page at the next publication of the site. Withdrawing it does not affect your procedure or anything else.
If you ask us to stop keeping your data, your comment and your photo are deleted along with it.
Who we share it with
- With the authority before which your procedure is carried out: the data it requires to register the appointment. This is necessary to provide the service you requested.
- With the agency that registered your case, if you came through one.
- With the providers that give us data hosting, email delivery and messaging (WhatsApp), which process the data only on our behalf and following our instructions. Some of them store the data outside Mexico.
How long we keep it
The copies of the documents you send us for your procedure are deleted 30 days after your procedure is completed.
We keep your identification and contact details, the history of your procedures and your payments in order to follow up with you, handle requests for clarification and, if you come back for another procedure, not ask you for everything again. If you want us to stop keeping them, request it as indicated below: we anonymize them. We remove your name, your document, your contact details and the personal data from your procedures, and we keep only the record of the procedures and the payments, without your name or your contact details. If you wrote to us by email or by WhatsApp, we also delete those conversations. Whatever a law requires us to keep, we keep only for that period.
Your rights and how to exercise them
You can access your data, ask us to rectify it or cancel it, object to its use and revoke your consent. Write to us at contacto@tramity.com with:
- your name and a means for us to reply to you;
- a document that proves your identity or that of your representative;
- which right you want to exercise and over which data.
We reply within the time limits established by law.
